TikTok has specific requirements for posting via third-party apps.
Account requirements
- Your TikTok account must be set to Private while OwlKonnect's app is in review
- Once the app is approved for production, public accounts can post freely
Video requirements
- Format: MP4 recommended
- Max file size: 4GB
- Duration: 3 seconds – 10 minutes
- Resolution: 720p minimum recommended
Common TikTok errors
"URL ownership unverified" — TikTok can't verify the video source domain. This is resolved internally — please contact support.
"Can only post to private accounts" — Set your TikTok account to Private in TikTok app → Settings → Privacy → Private account.
"Chunk size invalid" — Internal error, contact support.
