Social media platforms issue access tokens that expire after a set period. When a token expires, OwlKonnect can no longer post on your behalf.
How to reconnect
- Go to Social Channels
- Find the channel showing Reconnect or Expires soon
- Click Reconnect
- Complete the OAuth authorisation flow again
Your existing posts, settings, and automations are preserved — only the access token is refreshed.
Prevention
Some platforms (e.g. YouTube via Google) support automatic token refresh. For platforms that don't, you'll receive a notification before the token expires.
